SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
“SOSO for You” is a training course for youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers active in the youth volunteering field. Training aim is to build capacities of 24 youth workers from 14 countries, for designing and managing projects for young volunteers by introducing them with the Social Software and other Web 2.0 tools. After the training course, participants will be encouraged and supported to prepare on line activities for European Year of Volunteering 2011. Methodology used in this training course is based on active participation and non-formal education methods aimed at developing skills and competencies of youth workers
especially in the field of use of different Internet tools in order to improve their everyday activities and projects done for young volunteers and thus increase the active participation of young people on local and international level.
‘SOSO for You” is a 7 day training course, scheduled to take place in December 2010, in Vukovar, Croatia, hosted by Youth Peace Group Danube, with 24 young people coming from 14 different countries – Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, FYRo Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia,Turkey.
