this a summary of our project:
People reflect their emotions and thoughts, happiness and sadness by the help of different musical instruments. An instrument reflects an emotion that felt by thousands people by combining with a professional singer in the most beautiful way. Today Anatolian region has much different kind of instruments such as lute, violin and many other different instruments, but today this cultural value has been forgotten by the new generation.
By the effect of popular culture these instruments have been started to lose their importance but the real art lovers and the people who give attention to the art and culture do not forget and they continue to keep them as the reflections of their emotions and thoughts.
Our project has been prepared to see the instruments in place in the cultural background in Europe, to make the instruments that started to be forgotten to be come on surface again and remembered by the people and to learn how much and in which ways have they reflected our culture.
Our project's partners will be young people between ages of 18 - 25 who have limited opportunities from Italy, Hungary, Greece the countries which have the most instruments in Europe and Turkey will be host country. Project will be done for 8 days in Mardin/Turkey and during this time there will be tolerance and communication among the participants so the young people who have difficulty integration into social will be included into the project.
Also in our Project by teaching the producing of traditional music instruments it will be supplied that the young people gain a new Professional skill and improve their available skill by active contribution to the production. Our Project will supply the young people to have active roles in the economy and social life and also will supply the opportunity to add them to the youth programme.
