Believe it or not, evaluation is in most of the cases the big unknown subject when it comes to project management. Unfortunately the lack of competences when it comes to evaluate international volunteering projects and the realization of mere evaluation exercises at the end of the activities it’s by no means neither sufficient nor fair for the organizers of the projects and likely for the participants of it. On the other hand, evaluation is seen very often as something complicated or routinely that one has to go through if want to fulfil the requirements set by the stakeholders of the project. None of these ideas are really true and with this course we want to demystify the stereotypes about evaluation in order to show that it can be above all, funny, participatory, motivating, creative and an extremely important element in any project. Being competent to apply and implement consistent evaluation processes will lead to the implementation of better and successful activities in the future.
Aim: to further develop participants’ competences in evaluation of international volunteering projects.
